All Pathways

In this pathway, you learn basic safety, use of hand and power tools, as well as working with construction drawings and blueprints and material handling. You also learn about environmentally responsible construction practices and building rating systems. This pathway prepares you for core certification by the National Center for Construction Education and Research.

CPCC ARTICULATED CREDIT

Articulated credit is earned as a result of a student passing the designated CMS 永乐app官方网站下载 course(s) with a final letter grade of a B or higher AND a score of 93 or higher on the NC administered end of course exam. In some cases students must show proficiency in multiple courses plus a certification in order to receive articulated credit. In some cases, there are options. Be sure to pay attention to the AND and OR statements. College articulated courses DO NOT show on a high school or college transcript. These courses, if the criteria is met, will be waived from the applicable program of study through Central Piedmont Community College.

NCCER’s industry-recognized credentials provide students and craft professionals with national portability of skills. 永乐app官方网站下载 students can receive the Carpentry Level I, Level II and Level III Certification.
